The Problem CI/CD Solves
Why manual integration and deployment don't scale with a team.
Integration hell
Before CI/CD, developers worked on branches for weeks and merged manually. Merging late meant huge conflicts, and deploying meant a person following a fragile checklist by hand — slow and error-prone.
The assembly line
CI/CD is like moving from hand-built cars to an assembly line: every change moves through the same automated stations (build, test, deploy) in the same order, every time — no station skipped, no step forgotten.
Small, frequent changes
CI/CD rewards small commits shipped often over giant releases shipped rarely. Smaller changes are easier to test, easier to review, and easier to roll back if something breaks.
