> Serve users who ask in Hindi, Hinglish and regional languages and who think in rupees and local context.

## Different language, different answer

Assistants often answer differently depending on the **language and location** of the question. A product that appears for English queries may be missing for Hindi, Tamil or Hinglish ones, because there is less content in those languages to learn from or retrieve. If your customers include Indian users, publish key pages (pricing in **INR**, support, FAQs, comparisons) in the languages they use, with natural language rather than machine translation, use proper `lang` attributes and `hreflang` links, mention local payment methods, taxes (such as GST), support hours and cities served, and add local reviews. Test your prompt set in each language separately.

## Language alternates in HTML

`hreflang` tells search systems which URL serves which language, so each audience gets the right page. The same idea helps crawlers that follow links.

```html
<html lang="hi">
<head>
  <title>Acme Tasks की क़ीमत: प्रति user ₹399/माह से</title>
  <link rel="alternate" hreflang="en" href="https://acme.example/en/pricing" />
  <link rel="alternate" hreflang="hi" href="https://acme.example/hi/pricing" />
  <link rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="https://acme.example/pricing" />
</head>
```

## Do not just machine-translate

Awkward automatic translation can distort meaning and reduce trust. Have a native speaker review key pages, and write Hindi as people actually search, including common English product words.

**Quiz:** Why test your prompt set in each language separately?

- [x] Visibility can differ a lot between languages
- [ ] All languages give identical answers
- [ ] Languages do not matter to assistants
- [ ] It is required by law

*Answer:* Visibility can differ a lot between languages. A strong English presence does not guarantee presence in Hindi or other languages.
