## Adoption is a people problem

A tool that nobody uses delivers no value. Involve the future users **early**; explain what the tool does, what it does not do and what stays a human decision; train people to write good requests and to **review AI output critically**; and give them an easy way to report problems. Address worries about jobs honestly: describe how roles will change, what new skills the organisation will help build, and avoid promising what you cannot guarantee. Measure actual **usage and satisfaction**, not only deployment.

## A short training outline

Half a day is a good start. Practise on real examples from the team's own work.

```text
1. What the tool can and cannot do (with 3 live failures shown)
2. Writing a clear request: goal, context, constraints, format
3. Reviewing output: check facts, numbers, tone, policy; never paste unreviewed
4. What never goes in: customer personal data, passwords, confidential deals
5. How to flag a bad answer; who to ask for help
6. Practice on 5 real tickets, then discuss
```

## Show failures too

Demos that only show successes create over-trust. Showing a few realistic mistakes teaches people to check and builds more durable confidence.

**Quiz:** What helps adoption most?

- [ ] Announcing the tool by email only
- [x] Involving users early and training them to review output
